Unparalleled journalism like this is what keeps me coming back.

you'd already know that if you followed him on Twitter

Doug DeMuro, this is your moment.

What brings Americans together more than some good ol’ hate?

Agreed. But they trade handling, dynamics, loadspace and (IMHO) aesthetics, for an elevated driving position to make people feel safer. I’ll take the wagon.

IMHO, crossovers are taller wagons... Yet Jalopniks hate crossovers.

If there’s anything iconic from GTA it’s the banshee, it and the infernus are the two (good) cars that have been in the most games.

They seriously couldn’t wait like 10-15 years to do this? I NEED MORE TIME DAMMIT!! (o_O)

The common sense advice is to use common sense.

Defender owners are creating a custom grille plaque for the attorney:

I don’t know if I hate you for making that reference, or me for knowing what it was. All I know is I now have that stupid song in my head.

Yo, listen up here’s a story, about a little guy that lives in a yellow world.

Ralph Lipschitz at #2 is a joke, sure he has a lot of beautiful iron but they’re just fashion accessories/investments to him. You even state that he spends all of 30 hrs a YEAR with them, anyone cool with a passion for automobiles would easily spend that amount of time a month and, if able (Leno), a week on them. Also

Jealousy is so ugly.

“You won’t believe who Jalopnik readers voted in as the 10 coolest celebrity car collectors!”

Anybody with a tv in the 90s knew Tim Allen was a car guy. With the exception of Leno, Letterman and Walker I wouldn’t know any of these people outside of cars(or at all).

Now playing

Yup. Jay Leno, by far. Not even a question. He’s got all the money in the world and some of the greatest cars ever built, but still hangs out with regular car guys and appreciates every part of car culture. Here’s a video of him just having an absolute blast in some dude’s beat-to-hell Honda S600 with a 1000cc

Have you met him? I will be the first to admit that he is not very funny as a comedian but as a person he is pretty awesome. He does a ton of charity work, takes time to chill with his fans when he is out and preserves and restores vehicles that would probably be forgotten to history. Compared to most other car guys

And he actually gets dirty and works on them.
