I'm willing to bet the average regisration age is 49 because a lot of the sales are in the parents names, not the kids. that said, they do need to change their formula if they want to attract customers. Instead of going luxury and pricing themselves out of their target demographic, why not make cars that are FUN. And

I don't necessarily regret purchasing my FJ after getting my first real job (5 year, 0% interest, 3k down and payments around 440/month). I had no other debt and the payments were less than 20% of my net paycheck. I do wish after getting the car I did a better job of saving instead of modding out the FJ. Now that I'm

When it comes to these hybrids... the rear end is usually where things REALLY take a turn for the worse. I admit, the front from what we can see looks pretty decent... but I'll wait to see the back before I make my final conclusion...

haha, true, but towing the space shuttle will probably be a more marketable tool than the baja 1000 in terms of how impressed people will be. People know the shuttle is huge and would take a massive truck (sorta not really) to tow it so even a layman would be impressed. Most people know nothing about the baja 1000 so

I agree with you.

I have a friend that works for a shoe company, very well known and famous. They manufacture their shoes in China and have had a lot of issues with counterfeits recently. Things got interesting because the knock-offs were coming out along side new product releases with the same/simlar style. Ultimately it was

definitely.

Something about Volkswagen and "electro-anything" worries me. They have some pretty cool technologies that work well until they don't.

I have a friend that buys salvage cars almost exclusively. He has had a couple that were decent but the majority of them just had a lot of details that were just off... body panels that didn't quite fit right, minor electrical issues, etc... I personally would not buy a salvage car unless I knew the previous owner and

Totally with you, it's a great looking bike, but just seems a little over dressed for the "naked" category.

Exactly!

my definition of a naked bike is very different if this is considered a naked bike.

Man, they should give you an option for those seats and steering wheel for the factory model! (I know safety regulations will prevent that from happening though)

so basically this would provide an AED anywhere you are at... Pretty good idea IMHO.

Why set foot on a dealership floor to get taken for a ride, figuratively and literally. If salesman were honest, things would be VERY different. I am trying to save money, and it works. If you don't want to reply to an email, that's on you and my money will go elsewhere.

I do let the dealers know what I'm doing. On the flipside, sales men ALWAYS say "thats the best I can do" only to go lower when you start walking. So really, I'm just playing at your level (salesman in general, not specifically you). If you guys honestly told me your best price from the get go, we would all move

That's my goal... to not set foot on a dealership floor until I have a deal I want.

How do you order things online? And also, if you pay your bill off in its entirety every month, you are not fattening the wallets of the credit card companies (at least not directly).

This advice actually isnt that great in general. Setting foot on dealership property puts them in the upper hand. I emailed all the dealerships within my state, told them what I wanted and then had them email me back their best offer. Take the best offer, blast it out to all the dealers again telling them to beat this
