Squatting in any non-squishy shoe seems to be just fine, raised heal or no. Where is your evidence that you should avoid the raised heel?

I have a home gym and love it. Not dealing with a commute or waiting for a squat rack to open up has been great.

I’d recommend A7 bar grip shirts if you love to squat. They even have some for front squats. Deadlift socks and knee sleeves are also cheaper options for gifts.

I used to work as a garbage collector during college, and people would typically tape a Christmas card to the can if they couldn’t hand it to you in person. It was probably only 10-15 stops per route that tipped, and that was in the suburbs. In the city I’d just skip it and not worry about it if you can’t hand it to

I think it is ridiculous that vision isn’t included in regular health insurance. That being said, I do have an eye condition that has been covered by insurance. I was worried this would all be out of pocket but have been rather relieved it’s been covered.

Nice. I like mixing it up, too. It’s good to keep things interesting!

I totally agree. My “big three” are currently front squats, trap bar deadlifts, and bench press. Sometimes I’ll just do the dumbbells for awhile. I’m working through some injuries as well and do a lot of single-leg iso work that my PT gave me. I’m not working out for anything other than my general health and love of

I wish more gyms around me had Safety Squat Bars. I’ve been thinking about getting one for my home gym.

Same. I’m not a powerlifter, but I just love lifting heavy things. If I miss a few days in the gym, I get antsy. I don’t need motivation to get to the gym. I just love going.

My gym had the same sign up for awhile.

I realize you already said you were joking, but I just wanted to point out that a few of these are legit exercises, like the weighted glute bridge. Banded lateral walks (that appears twice on this thing for some reason) is a fantastic warm-up for squats.

That’s entirely possible.

I’m pretty sure everyone in this episode mentioned going to their doctors and being told there was nothing that could be done for them.

Thanks Jolie! I definitely need to clean mine ASAP.

FWIW, and not that Carson would actually know it, but OREO is a thing (Other Real Estate Owned).

Good to see The Rain coming back this month. Although, now that I think about it, I can’t really remember where it left off. Guess I’d better rewatch the last episode.

Yeah, I don’t even like going when I’m invited.

“Researchers also looked at the association between drinking artificially sweetened beverages (ASBs) and risk of early death. They found that replacing SSBs with ASBs was linked with a moderately lower risk of early death. But they also found a link between high intake levels of ASBs (at least four servings/day) and

That’s awesome. I may have to get this scheduled.
