It’s good to hear some acknowledgement of the valid criticism presented in the article. It’s difficult to think of a way to write such a piece without naming the key figures involved, and I don’t think that any were particularly singled out. The real problems stemmed from groupthink and a lack of leadership, which I

That was more an incident of overcharged egos clashing. There’s no cover-up, Sid was blackballed by WCW for years.

Oh thank god. Diet Coke can finally kill me.

Least he doesn’t have his rainbow hair anymore.

Why be ashamed of liking a fucking awesome movie? Great soundtrack, great vehicle for Arnold’s bizarrely compelling charisma, great villain, awesome dialogue. If the swordplay was a little less 1930s Adventure Serial it’d be a GOAT contender, but even that is a part of the charm for me.

They subsist off Ho Hos and Snowballs, but is that even considered living?

Maybe she was just so outraged by this injustice that she had to make an account. As a totally real, totally not fake American women living the high life in the totally not theocratic, paternalist petrostate, she has to get the truth out!

I’ve seen a suspicious amount of comments on articles critical of the UAE from people claiming to be British/American women who live there and saying it’s the best place on Earth and that the slavery is fine and everything is equal.

Much like minorities and women, they only like Veterans when they agree with them 100%. Disagree with the God Emperor and even the most modest figleaf of decency is stripped away.

Like, you can call him a shithead or ineffectual or whatever, but H.W. wasn’t a wimp.

And it’s okay to lose interest in playing a game! It doesn’t have to be the fault of the game, necessarily. Playing the same thing for hundreds of hours can drain the enjoyment out of just about anything.

It’s a Witch Hunt but it’s at a Wicca Convention in the Pacific Northwest.

This game looks like an alien’s mental picture of what War is, as described by a drunk human in a loud bar.

There’s a good joke in here replacing the Silver Shamrock program with clips from the new Ghostbusters movie...but I’m too lazy to make it and I didn’t even hate the movie that much.

It was made to be funny for the people who were on that set, on that day, at that particular moment. Watching Ghostbusters 2016 is watching someone explain to you a running gag he has with his friends.

I watched it sporadically through tapes/re-runs when I was a kid. When it came on Teletoon Retro when I was 22-ish I gave a lot of the series a good watch.

Whoa whoa whoa there. Let’s not go pretending Real Ghostbusters was a bad property.

Is rebooting Ghostbusters after your reboot was a box office bomb a Fuck You?

Kinda?

Studios are increasingly desperate to put beloved properties back in theatres to make that Jurassic World money. Ghostbusters 2016, with its bloated CGI-heavy budget and extensive marketing costs, was a commercial failure. It’s a Fuck

A lot of the anger I’ve seen is directed not so much at the subject matter (bullying, catcalling is bad) but at the perception that they need to be lectured by a razor company.

In a series where every season is supposed to be different, trying out new things is par for the course. But fuck did I love S1's gothic horror/implied cosmic death cult stuff. Even if they didn’t eventually pull the trigger on the King in Yellow, it was a fantastic ride and almostkinda genre fiction.
