Wrong enough to write an article about it...

The other commenters are wrong. You are right. One just needs to use the good pieces from the center of the celery. Celery is a great flavor. Hell, you can boil a few stalks and it will make the whole house smell great.

Celery is delicious.  Apples do not belong in any salad that is not fruit salad.  That is all.

Not really all that hot of a take. I loved the game on its release, but I can also acknowledge that it really hasn’t aged well at all.

I’d say wait and see. I have a feeling the relationship is about to get a lot more complex in the coming weeks. It seemed like that ending was hinting at Greg’s dependency, showing up to Rebecca’s work an hour after they just hung out.

I think you’re all alone on that hill.

So, as someone who clearly enjoys seeing aspects of other cultures that the show has used to make you laugh, you got upset at seeing your culture held up for the same treatment? And you don’t grasp the hypocrisy of that?

I can’t argue that the accents are somehow good, or that there’s a payoff there, but the vision we see of Australia is absolutely of a piece with the show’s heightened take on our reality. For every “Drinking Nemo” there’s a “Sting’s Desert Rosé” or a “Tostito’s Public Library, Sponsored by GoDaddy”. Those bricks were

Agreed. The accents WERE bad, and that was frustrating, but the silly location-related stuff was intentional and across the board regardless of location.

They made fun of Canada too. Is there a bar called the Puking Moose? I dunno. Maybe? But we like our beer and we would never have a bar with only Molson Canadian on tap. That would be dreadfully wrong. As a Canadian though, I thought it was hilariously over the top and loved it.

The monster truck cabs are really the highlight of every trip I take to the Redneck Riveria.

The actress might need more accent work - and I hope she gets it for next season, but the gross generalization of Earth locations felt equitable. Too many places in Arizona doubled as sites to shoot porn after dark and maybe I haven’t gone to Florida in a while, but monster truck taxis aren’t a thing. The American

Except Jacksonsonville, Florida and Arizona are based completely on reality. But do not make fun of Australia.

Maybe don't comment on shows you don't like. This Is Us isn't my cup of tea, but I don't go trashing it in the comments section just because.

They rip apart the US and use tons of stereotypes about Americans too. I don’t know Australia first hand, but their use of similar absurd stereotypes didn’t really bother me. The US themed restaurant was basically USA land of trashy over eating and celebrity worship and I was comfortable with it.

My gosh, you HAVE to see posts on a blog?! How do you survive???

Are you *still* doing this? Have you considered that just because you don’t like something, other people are still allowed to like it?

This is going to happen organically, over the next few weeks anyway.

I’m sure all those starving workers out in the wilds of Trump Country are really going to appreciate hearing how unimportant/lazy/expendable they are.

Air traffic controllers (and TSA) have the fastest path to end this. If those groups staged a sick out on a Sunday & Monday, it would shut down air travel in the US. The military doesn’t have enough controllers to deploy to do the job. Think of all the vacationers stuck either not getting home or away. Business
