Yeah, I am bummed that Texas has to endure six more years of Ted Cruz, and Georgia and Florida elected some tv supervillains, but hey, this is pretty cool and hopeful.

Sakurai openly telling fans to fuck off every single time is what fuels me. It is my raison d’etre.

Last night went extremely according to plan; the only real disappointments came from America’s Perennial Disappointment (Florida) and Georgia’s gubernatorial race (which isn’t over yet).

Keep in mind the many Democratic Senate seats being defended last night were picked up during 2012 — Obama’s re-election. D’s kept most of them. In 2020 the Republican’s will be on defense — 20 of the 34 seats up for re-election will be in Republican control. If the push we saw last night continues the D’s can get

Well you have to know how government works before you can appreciate its changes.

What at total piece of fucking shit. This is what privilege looks like: not voting because you’re reasonably certain you’ll be unaffected regardless of who wins—everyone else be damned.

I grew up in the 90's and let me tell you. Undertale did do a lot of things different from a lot of RPGs. That’s just wrong if you think it didn’t. I’m in my 30s. I can’t Deny Toby fox has a great imagination and was inspired by a lot of great games. But he did do something different for the genre.

Yeah, it almost sounds like she cares more about her co-workers than saving 10%.

By your logic you should also be tipping at McDonald’s and any number of other places. I’m not saying minimum wage is sufficient, but the  consumer shouldn’t be penalized for a company underpaying their employees.

“Salty, my barista coworker threw a hot cup of coffee in my face during an on-shift psychotic breakdown. Should I tip $1 or $5 in that situation?”

Yes, if someone asked, “Salty, I’m a barista and one of my coworkers made the wrong thing for a customer. She was about to throw it away but I told her I’d drink it. Do I need to tip?” her answer would be “Yes, it’s just a dollar!”

“Well-trained barista”

How about “for” the preservation of abortion rights!? God Almighty there’s no helping you people.

“Since it’s my co-worker, should I tip my customary 50% or up it to 75%?”

I kinda buy ol girl not knowing anything about blackface. Most Americans don’t have to know anything much about Black Americans to get by in this world.

This comment could literally go in any of her articles.

If you ask salty “should I tip” her response will always be yes. “Salty, I got a water from the barista at my work, should I tip?” Yes, those baristas are wait staff and are a tight knit group of people whom you are not a part of, even if you use the same break room and are employed and paid by the same people. You

Also, “No need to overthink it” - after she listed out a half-dozen reasons why they should tip.

Did you actually think there was a even a remote possibility The Salty Waitress would tell you to not tip?
