If he’s truly bipolar and off his meds, we’d know it; almost immediately. People don’t just launch into a manic episode out of nowhere (not a hypermanic episode —hypomanic episodes can be triggered by sudden, intense stress, but they’re also easily detected —especially by loved ones).
