Yeah, so would the world of medicine.

Uh, I’m gay and neither of my parents were gay or “gender-fluid,” so yeah. That was some dumb shit right there, folks.

Well, Flynn isn’t getting this reduced charge for nothin’, so we’ll see.

“...at least, until Ford gave him a full pardon.”

Yep. Despite whatever they say to the media, watch their votes. And that horseshit outburst from Orin Hatch earlier last week made my blood boil.

What I don’t get about the vote for that horrendous tax bill was Jeff Flake. He’s not running but he still supported this monstrous bill? The fuck?!

Yeah, I made a similar point. Since it’s a female superhero, she MUST have a love interest, right? [insert eye roll...]

I can’t help but wonder why the focus is on a romantic relationship. I have to think about this, but are male superhero movies focused on romantic relationships? I suppose you could say “sure,” in reference to Lois Lane / Kal El, but Batman’s always been somewhat of a loner. Flash? Nope. Iron Man? Another loner.

What happened between Cohen & May?

It doesn’t work. Anytime I’ve ever attempted to edit a post with Kinja, it never updates the post with the edit. Never.

Amen.

I agree 100%.

I disagree with the assertion that her words were taken out of context and I also think her second statement does nothing but double down on the stupidity of her first statement. She got defensive in her second statement instead of acknowledging the stupidity of it.

Fuck off with that bullshit argument. Women (and men) should be able to walk down the street in a bikini and not suffer a single catcall or other bullshit.

And in her follow-up statement, it’s clear she STILL doesn’t get how her words amounted to victim blaming. She did the old “dug her heels in” instead of acknowledging what she said was straight-up fucked up.

People seem to fall into the trap of thinking that actors are well-written, well-spoken people. By definition of their craft, THEY DON’T WRITE THE WORDS.

You’re nuts. I absolutely loved the fight scenes in Wonder Woman.

We’ll see if we’ve made real progress for LGBTQ people if they don’t kill either Citizen Cold or The Ray. —That would be an indication that we’ve moved past one of the worst tv / movie tropes in history.

As a gay person, your post intrigued me. However, after a brief search, the only thing I keep coming up with is a John Lithgow / Alfred Molina movie that didn’t have any violence, substance abuse or nudity but did feature a gay kiss. However, as Slate and other media organizations reported (nj.com another), that movie

...which makes them collaborators against the LGBTQ community.
