WILDERMYTH I FOUND IT
How moddable is it? I enjoy these sort of “tell your own story” open-ended RPG/management combos (Battle Brothers, Mount and Blade, that one REALLY good game with the really ugly artstyle that I can’t remember the name of off the top of my head) but they really tend to sink or swim for me based on how thoroughly the…
All I wanted from this movie is to be a feature-length version of Barbie Instagram (the #1 SNL skit, imo).
“Poor thing. She doesn’t know she’s a toy.”
Yeah, it’s pretty clear at this point that Dreamlight Valley is a fairly anomalous entry into the “gameloft bullshit” category, by virtue or actually being worth playing without the freemium nonsense.
To this day, I’m still baffled and a little peeved that they took out the “footprint” tracking feature that was in the game at launch. It’s so weird to me that the thing that made it, y’know, a -game- and not just a wandering around aimlessly simulator was stripped unceremoniously from the experience and never…

My plan for an upcoming six hour flight is to start up Slay the Spire: Downfall for the first time, spend a bit of time familiarizing myself with the new content, and then look upwards to realize that I’m already at my destination - as usually happens when I sit down with Slay the Spire.
“meant to give the illusion of depth to something that isn’t that deep.”
I kinda think it’s the opposite. It’s meant to suggest simplicity or readability - for someone who might take a look at the very abstract layout of a Path of Exile or Crusader Kings 3 perk tree (or intersecting series of perk trees) and feel their…
Honestly feeling embarrassed that in our discussions of why they might have written him off, neither me nor my partner pitched "sex pest." It seems naive in retrospect.
Time for my Game of Thrones OC, Wimbly Withershins, to once again marry Tormund Giantsbane and take all of Westeros back from those soft southerners.
RIP my free time.
I have nothing to add except that Baylon Skoll could get it.
He’s good enough for me, but apparently not good enough for Vera Oberlin.
I play dozens of hours a week, and can’t beat my husband who games once a week for an hour at most at -anything-. He even wins at fighting games, a genre which he has absolutely no fondness for.
Actually, scratch that, I won when we played Monster Prom. Eat that, Chris, you dateless loser.
I tend to think most Backrooms stuff (and, indeed, most creepypasta stuff) is pretty bad, but at least the bones are there for something cool.
Compare that to, say, Jeff the Killer - where the very baseline idea is dumb and bad. Or any of those “spooky ritual” creepypastas, where you have to wonder “what?” and “why?”…
My fiance likes drag-related stuff, but I’ve never really gotten very far into it . . . except for Jinkx. She’s just an absolute wonder of a performer, incredibly talented and funny, and I’m stoked out of my gourd for this.
If this is the basis for one of those spin-offs that Davies keeps pitching, then I’ll watch every single episode and buy every piece of merchandise related.
I opened this thinking “they better not have done my boy Chespin dirty” and then immediatly scrolled down here to tell y’all to never speak to me or my son again.
Honey. What.
Dooope.
I know that Cera has benefited from some of the modern celebrity stunt-casting that every animated blockbuster loves, but I can’t say I’ve ever heard him voice anything and thought “wow, he really disappeared into this role.” Robin included. Compared to Whitman as Katara or Amity Blight, anyway.
