Okay so I've been married about 13 months and it hasn't been nearly as hard (yet) as I was warned. I'm sure the super hard times will come later, but the first year was pretty chill. I actually thought being engaged was worse because you had this big stressful event that you have to work together and plan hanging

Young Brando and Gregory Peck are my two biggest Dead Celebrity Crushes.

Yeah I picked that up too, high school english FTW!

I *think* (and I hope), that the first couple lines are a reference to The Stranger by Albert Camus. Kind of a weird intro, but that's what I got.

I wonder if they surveyed Emory students/alumni for this. Because those are (largely) some very, very well off people.

Mine was an aquamarine, because of the ethical issues (and inflated prices) of diamonds. It's really interesting to observe people based on their reactions to it.

I just read the first page on Amazon Preview and I don't know if I'm more horrified by the content or the terrible writing. Legit phrase: "Her nipples, the texture of hard, yet sculptable, cheese."

Last night on the Maaass Piiiiike

You can get grocery delivery in the US (in major cities at least). I just got a Safeway delivery today! They did substitute my parsley for Italian parsley, but I suppose it could be much worse.

Lots of bloggers write on their to drive traffic back to their own blogs. Which... does work, although you have to question the quality of the traffic.

Not surprised they are selling it in DC. My Mom lives in Arlington and the suburbs are flooded with adorable little rabbits!

I'm moving to Seattle on Monday! Excited/nervous. Any Seattle natives have tips for me on local living?

My college roommate was from Niceville. She definitely didn't live up to the name.

I got my appendix removed at Emory hospital and survived... only to come down with a drug resistant staff infection 4 years later. Coincidence? Well... probably.

Yup we are leaving DC now because rent prices are just totally out of control.

Oh, then yeah I think you are correct, that can't be a real thing.

True story: William Tell once played a show at my friend's college and we smoked up with him and his band. He is very, very cute. I say good job Lauren.

Oh it's definitely a thing, in the sense that it is a thing that people say. My university had a very large Long Island population and the term jappy was thrown around quite liberally.

Thanks! I was shocked nobody else scooped it up first.

As a Virginia all I can say is GOOD. I hope they all go to jail.
