I don't mind Japanese commercials at all. I can barely understand what they're saying, and half the time I can't even tell what they're selling, but that's from my point of view. It feels like when I was much younger and MTV would run 30 second Residents "ads" that would weird the hell out of me. And it's nice to live

A thousand thank yous for your wisdom. My people are forever in your debt, outlander. Take this amulet of pedantry and free our village from the evil of negligible mistakes.

Glad it seems SMT and its spin-offs are back after skipping an entire console generation.

Superbrothers: Sword & Sorcery. It's awesome. Get it.

I think it would be good if you did a follow-up to Valvrave as well. That was the only series you recommended this cycle that I had to stop after one episode. I'd like to find out if I was wrong doing that. I'm a big fan of all Gundam UC series and some Macross, Eva, and other mecha. I wrote off Valvrave after it hit

Kinda like how James Cameron paved the way for revolutionary new 3D technology in multiplexes and now we have all those incredible slightly-more-expensive 3D movies coming out all the time.

I've actually just finished Soul Eater on a recommendation from people at work. It was good but at 51 episodes kinda lost steam at the end. And I have to come back to FMA: Brotherhood again. 64 episodes long, not as long and drawn out as Dragon Ball or too short for an epic story. It really is the best of its kind.

Contrary to what you may have heard, don't watch the original FMA first. Brotherhood is so much better and it would be a shame if you were to diminish the experience by the 100+ episode original series. Brotherhood is the gold standard by which all other shounen series are judged. Start with the best.

This makes me glad. What worries me is how Hideo Kojima's ecstatic praise is dismissed so unceremoniously by young people (let's be honest) used to harshly judging things placed right in front of them. Reading del Toro's writing about adventure movies recently, you see that this project is very personal to him.

Your opinion and your grammar make me want to watch this now.

If it's really that hard for you being a dude then just quit.

Well there's an easy solution to that. Gundam Unicorn. All the way. It's accessible to newcomers yet doesn't bog you down with impenetrable backstory. Plus it's the best looking mecha anything I've ever seen.

Interesting you mention that, Splinter Cell was what inspired my post. I remember a while ago trying out the co-op on Splinter Cell Chaos Theory - just before we all went to see the midnight show of Revenge of the Sith in fact - and it kind of worked, with the mechanics where you actually helped each other through the

An impeccably designed co-op stealth game where you pull off major heists and soforth would be incredible. Even better if it were on one screen with two controllers rather than online.

Actually now that I think of it, one of the best games I've played in the past few years has been Monaco for PC and its online multiplayer is pretty good. That would make an incredible same-room co-op game. Hopefully someone will get the idea to port it to Wii U or PS4.

Yeah some of the best multiplayer times I've had were on the couch with my buddies on Mario Kart of Smash Bros. I loved playing the Counterstrike mod for Half-Life 1 (big PC, highest res) but at least Goldeneye let us play four player split screen, even if the graphics were kinda miserable. Last thing I need is some

Yup. Eventually Microsoft will shut down all the Xbox One servers and empty out everything to make room for the Xbox Two (?). Online games are a bit overrated. There should be a living room co-op revival. Or maybe there has been and I just haven't heard about it.

Space Battleship Yamato also gets accused of sympathizing with Imperial sentiment. That show doesn't seem to generate the same level of hate at all.

Nobody can politicize metal.

I'd play a Madden game if I had the option to import Cannibal Corpse in lieu of the Star Spangled Banner. Well maybe a rental.
