You morons. You release a great enthusiast car, and then follow it up with a poorly educated dealer chain, zero updates/refreshes, no performance models, no convertible models to up your profit margin...WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! Did you think this was gonna just glide to success on its own merits? That everyone would

Z07 is a performance package for the Z06, kind of like the Z51 or 1LE packages for the C7 and Camaro.

Compared the other cars in its performance class it is. There are cars that cost three times as much that cannot beat the corvette

I cannot wait to see how badly these pushrod powered Union built plastic cars kick the shit out of the 458 Speciale and the other Euro elite.

Sometimes the satire on this sight goes over my heads and I just think the authors are psychotic megalomaniacs.

What the hell happened to Mitsu anyway?

You can get C5 Corvettes for under $15,000 easily anymore.

Dimenna went on to say the Tweel is focused on "lower-speed, off-road applications where downtime from flat tires is a concern,"

But he's right. BMWs are great cars, but they come with a perception tax, people will assume you're ignorant and selfish if you own one. Not out of jealousy, but because we've had years now of bad examples of humanity doing stupid, stupid things with BMWs.

Yes.

Aaaaand here we see why BMW owners have the reputation for being pretentious asshats.

You'll also look like 1/3 the asshole driving a Caddy, which to me is ++

Guess you've never heard of the Z06, ZR1 or grand sport..

Flat plane crank. 5.2 liters. At least 500 horsepower and 400 pound feet of torque. Six speed manual transmission. Magnetic ride. Independent suspension. Huge brakes. Whoever said we're in the dark ages of cars needs to eat all of their words.

The C7 Z06 has wider fenders than the Stingray...

That V8 is linked directly to a six speed manual transmission, and there is no mention of a dual clutch or an automatic or a CVT or anything else anywhere. This pleases us.

Given the quality (or lack thereof) of the vehicles at our local ANs here in Austin, this would not be a good idea.

I feel like I don't trust a website for as car dealer. Seems like the odds are that I'd show up and then "Oh, that price certificate is no good for what you thought, you need..." And then you end up fighting $2000 in additional charges when you felt you overpaid online in the first place.

Yeah the lack of power was my biggest hesitation. I was basically looking at the BRZ and the Mustang if the BRZ was deemed too anemic from my test drive. Luckily I decided that it was "good enough" and went with it.
