I always liked Frodo saying “I will take the Ring, though I do not know the way.”

I keep a copy of the trilogy on my desk at work bookmarked to this page. Very comforting when things start to feel too heavy.

I would like to have this quote plastered to the eyelids of all the prisoners of the moment, who decry our times are uniquely disastrous or “the worst,” or even the best; who either succumb to despondency or complacency.
