...So wait, date with Barret is somehow..."SPECIAL" and "hard to get" ??
Reminds me somehow of the SNES Classic: Zombies Ate My Neighbors
From the looks of the video (and the GT's gameplay vid) it seems that you'll have the main-weapon and secondary-weapon slots, that you assign weapons yourself through inventory, but after that you can switch between those two items quickly in-game. It's pretty much how it's in STALKER games for example, that I simply…
Awe.

Has anyone managed to replace the PC port's MIDI-sountrack with the original, orchestrated tunes yet? A small detail that will bother me to the end of times.
The gameplay and tech may be more complex than in the predecessors, but that's nowhere near the #1 thing I'm looking for in Max Payne games. Trust me, it was a notable release even in Finland. I didn't have PS1 myself either at the time, but I followed closely the gaming media - the magazines that is. The sudden use of Finnish terms was noticed immediately, but I can see it sounding exotic and alien for the foreigners.
The "meatgrinder" was the long pipe-like hallway in the end of the Movie.
Metro 2033, the original Book the game with same name was based on, was actually very much inspired by the Roadside Picnic. This is why there's so many similar elements in Stalker and Metro -games, hell Metro even has a small easteregg / joke about Roadside Picnic in it.
