We ARE talking about the resolution.
We ARE talking about the resolution.
Your post makes it sound like you skipped the whole series and went straight to the "Next big PS3 release everyone was talking about" (MGS4).
It's a HD-port of a PSP game, not a complete Remake.
In my opinion, Duke: Forever was just about what was mentioned in the article: quick buck, cashing with a dead product without even polishing it to be acceptable. And no, gluing on "modern" style gameplay from complete opposite FPS games is not "upgrading".
Anyone saying insane stuff like "It is a Duke-game! It felt like a Duke-game, and plays like one!" about Forever are out of their minds.
You can already see some changes / improvements from the pics and videos, like the free-control camera, MGS4 style over-shoulder aiming, bumpmapping effects on textures and the touch-screen interaction for items and gear. I'd be interested knowing if crouch-walking is also included, something already seen in Peace…
No, Snake Eater did not "suck". It was quite great MGS game already.
So:
I found SH4 much more enjoyable and creepier than Origins. That was just... let's just say bad.
Yeah, like said already: Twin Snakes is a bad way to get into the series.
I would agree, IF all Playstation 3 -consoles would play PS2 games without problems.
"No one recalls Metal Gear started on a nintendo system... Or cares... "
"...when the lot of us were staying up til dawn in MGS1 climbing and hanging down from banisters to get more stamnia. "
No they don't. If anything they might save it, when you're actually following what's happening and what you're supposed to do.
I always enable subtitles.
you just need to check your eyes. He´s clearly falling down all the time.
The picture (that seems a mix of digi-drawing and 3DCG) does not really do justice, she looks a bit more feminine in the original game. But just a little, she is the goddamn Boss, the leader of the original deadly mercenary group and teacher or goddamn Big Boss.
Personally I just love the multiple endings possibilities in games. Finishing the game, especially a game you liked a lot, thinking it's a shame it's over... Then you realize there was maybe many hours worth an extra gameplay available, perhaps several ways to play the game!
What about the rumors that the Wii-2 / Project Cafe would support even 1440p HD-resolutions, just to support upcoming next generation TVs? Just a hoax, not confirmed, no one else heard of it?
Now why on earth don't you have the Orange Box yet?? It's one of the best deals ever, having technically 5 games in one! It must be dirt cheap now as well.
