...except HQ-texture packs can't alter 3D models or pre-rendered backgrounds. Nor do they alter animations or add new special effects.
I'm not seeing the "Pyramid Head" you are mentioning in the article, unless the creature in the very last picture is trying to be it. Which really doesn't look like, and I will so send ultra-compact AIDS in the mail to the director if they dare to have him in this movie.
"...who compares the area to something out of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. "
"What does fighting back get you? Nothing."
All I can recommend: Play the original game again.
Yup. Fag= a cigarette, not "faggot" as in "homosexual".
Like mentioned below, Resident Evil ring any bells?
I still say it´s plausible, and definitely possible.
"Make your OLD PC games look brand new" says the title. "...Vorontsov is able to make an ANCIENT game look ... at least a lot easier on the eyes".
Pretty much as stated above. You can search for the older news about how they are about to bring the Steam to PS3, allowing you to (at least technically) play same games on 2 different platforms, and maybe even play against people cross-platforms
Ah... the beloved FF13 hate, even here.
The pure 1.0 of the first Stalker game was damn buggy, and the reputation still shadows it to the days. The X-Ray engine it uses is now much more stable, and with the patches applied even the first Stalker, SoC, is enjoyable to play as vanilla.
STALKER 2 is being developed as we speak, but it does NOT use any Cryengine, but an all new one.
Your system must suck or you are doing with way too high options, because I get average of 35-45fps even in Clear Sky and CoP, with Enhanced Full Dynamic Lighting mode, with some visual boost mods applied as well. And this is with 4 years old set with Windows XP.
"This video contians material of the National Geographic company, and showing it has been blocked in your country for the licensing reasons"
@oogabubchub: Shame, you are missing some of the most "artistic" games and best stories in the industry. See Silent Hill 2 for example.
@Anarkiwi: Then you definitely need to play the Penumbra-games, unless you already have.
@IcoSotc: I'd say Amnesia, even if its predecessors, the Penumbra-games, were superior in my opinion.
@Baboonski: The first game was a PS1 game, the next installments up to Homecoming were on PS2. The first four are the best in the series. You can get SH1 from PSN Store for a few bucks nowadays.
