I much prefer a stick in traffic. If you don’t just gun it every time traffic moves like most auto drivers you can pretty much drive with one pedal.

Weight is a BIG factor on how much power you need. I built a street legal YZ85 Motard a few years ago. It made 21hp at the rear wheel and was stupid fast due to the fact it only weighed 145lbs wet. Most street bikes are 400lbs+ and thus require double the power to be acceptable.

Right now any car in good shape that actually drives for $3k is a good price regardless of make.

You haven’t been following two strokes much lately then. With fuel & oil injection the emissions have been greatly reduced. Fuel injection really smooths out the power delivery too.
