I’m not a huge crossover fan, but there are some appreciable size differences. Based on the specs you quoted, rear seat leg room is 3.5" greater than in the Focus. 3.5" can make a big difference in comfort for an extended ride - that’s greater than the pitch difference between Econ and Econ+ on most airlines.
