I disagree with this viewpoint. Certain beers are brewed to be cellared for many years. Aging these brews gives them a very different flavor and intensity. I’ve kept barrel aged stouts for over three years. Each year of storage is a delight to enjoy. Many Mad Elf fans store their beers 2-3 years to mellow out the high

Anything from Subaru.

1966 Pontiac Catalina, 421 engine, 4-door monstrosity. The clutch on that thing was a bugger. I’d drive our local downtown loop and by the end of the evening my left leg was painfully numb.

He’s done worse.

They can also go after him for loss of business during the incident. I drove by that station shortly after it happened. The parking lot was blocked by police vehicles for a few hours.

Yes, this... and one that doesn’t take 10 minutes to make really dark toast.

Certainly, in his most recent years, he’s done whatever crap for the cash. Wouldn’t most of us do the same? But, that list of yours shows how many great guy movies, and whack job movies this guy made. He was one of our best during that era.

Back in the 70's I had a “unbreakable” hard plastic case flashlight. So, one night of mischief I threw it against the wall of my apartment to see how tough it was. The lens cracked, just a tiny spot. When shinned against my living room wall, my drug hazed mind first spotted a mushroom like spot on the illuminated

Back in the 90's, I was pumping gas at a full service island where I worked. A car pulled in, stopped for service. Mother and daughter inside, windows down. As I leaned down to talk, on the passenger side, I noticed the young girl was crying. Then I noticed both of them had their hand up in front of their eyes. I

“says the town is doing its best to recover from the hundreds of thousands of dollars stollen from the town by past crooked elected officials.”

I’ve had two wives. That hasn’t really worked out.

This story brought back memories of a great Tim Roth film, “The Legend of 1900". Roth plays a man who was born below decks on a cruise ship of its time, raised onboard and became a world class pianist on the ship. Spent his entire life on the ship.

The condition of the fountain nozzles can make a big difference in taste. Very few stores clean them daily as suggested.

Here’s two great ones you missed. Bag O’Glass and the Bass O Matic.

My dad, a mechanic and Corvair fan, modified their flat six for use in small aircraft. The common VW flats were popular with the Experimental Aircraft clubs at the time, and the more powerful Corvair engines were perfect for those home builders.

Hold on GE. I’ve been a Costco member a long time, had a commercial membership and used it frequently for my business. Nothing but praise for my years shopping there and the products I’d purchased. In all those years, they’ve always required you to redeem your certificate in person. That was never really a problem as

Grew up in a Corvair family, owned two myself. Learned to drive in a 64. My dad, a mechanic, had a passion of them. His 69 was set up for racing, he’d said I could only drive it at his funeral. And I did. The local Corvair club followed me to the cemetery that day.

I just cancelled my 15+ year membership last week. I’ve always enjoyed their cash-back bonus, redeeming my coupon at the beginning of each new year. Sadly, they have a horrible policy of haveing to redeem the coupon in person. During the past two Covid years, I did not want to venture into their store, and asked to
