Yeah, but do you practice lucid dreaming? That usually doesn't last too long... And either way, he would eventually fall asleep for real and get into REM where lucid dreaming occurs. As well, being stuck in a bed all day I'd bet he's in and out of REM all the time. After the research and practice I've done with lucid

I bet it's like an infinite lucid dream - which would be great - seeing as going into sleep paralysis is the first step to lucid dreaming and this guy is paralyzed all the time. If so, then it's quite possible vegetative people are living better lives than they ever did when they could move...

Well then, that's a better comparison. I agree, Windows 8 is looking pretty stellar, though I've yet to play with it.

Holy shit! Your brand new top of the line phone is faster than your 3 year old phone was? That's some crazy shit. /s

Except that you can't tag someone on mobile.

Oh I see, it's in the link. And the included one is the bonus.

That doesn't seem like the same video that the article described...

The article you pointed out says it could take 100,000 or Even up to 1 million years for the light to get to the surface. Does that mean that for the first ~100,000 years or so after a star is formed it's invisible since the light hasn't gotten to the surface yet?

Valid point, however, recording that in landscape would still have enough room to show the full list with the added advantage that we would get a full size video when watching it in a landscape video player (read: 99% of video players/screens). I just watched it on a 50" TV and being in portrait it was more difficult

Seems this system needs some work.

I'm saying that a majority of 'big' things won't fit in the 11" cubed (ie: a monitor) so this service has a pretty limited usage scenario sitting between "too big for letterbox" and "less than 11x11x11" - but it also serves the people with no letterbox and the packages that are small but to be signed for and are

HAHA. Really? You're standing within mere inches of the package and they had to issue you a refund. #bezosfail

From the original lockers article...

I completely agree - they actually look like something. I don't like the photos of very abstract things that you can't even tell what they are 'The blood-brain barrier in a live zebrafish embryo' I know what that is by the description but the image just looks like something I could have cobbled together in Photoshop.

Yes, the better apps do. And most of the better apps are iOS ones. Android tablet optimized apps just aren't widely available yet.

bites of data really Sam? It's either bits or bytes but certainly not bites.

Maybe they're not bitter because it didn't exactly pan out like the movie and maybe they knew, deep down, that $65m is way more than their fair share.

Interesting. There is an almost 1000 levels difference between 1024 levels and 'thousands of levels' - marketing bastards screwing with us again.

Agreed, awesome show... Although they did have a season (or maybe just a few episodes) with some dude host that was dressed by Holt Renfrew and drove a Nissan (as made obvious just before the credits).
