It's not that they don't just work. It's that most of the important/popular apps for Android tablets are just blown up cell phone apps. You're right they are fluid designs that can be blown up to fit a large screen - the point is that they don't take advantage of the extra screen real estate with more controls/more

Maybe people don't want black because of the iPhone 5 chipping/scratching problem. That'd be much worse on an iPad mini as it doesn't sit, protected, in your pocket all day.

I like how they actually went and bought 20 rubber lizards to fill the pit with, that'll ensure the robot dares not fall in.

How'd they get the front plate? He doesn't have one.

If companies innovated on every release as much as you expect them to we'd be getting a sun tan on the moon while reading the news on a pop-up holographic display that appears in front of us.

That's still describing the fusion drive specifically, it's not saying the entire dual drive system is new, just that the fusion drive specifically is new in the sense that Apple didn't offer it as a product yesterday.

How is this not new? Did Apple offer a fusion drive before this? No. Well then, seems new to me.

I was shocked they couldn't suck up $30 just to have the price start with a 2 instead of a 3 - it's all about perception.

Oh, you better bet they're innovating.

Apparently the new lightening connector turns your black iOS devices into white ones...

Yeah... Except, I came into the office today. :S

My black one looks new, no case, got it day 1 at 8am. Apparently I baby it more than the other guy who responded.

My bad, I watched the video again from the FAA. It's not that it spreads out its just that when you are looking at it head on (as opposed to from the shooters point of view) it's as if it's really wide because it fills a large portion of your eyesight due to glare, so it can look as if the entire cockpit is filled

Actually that's incorrect. It's when they're up high that is the worst because the width of the beam expands over distance by the time it hits the side of a planes nose (pointed on an angle, not directly below) the beam is wide enough to fill up the entire cockpit with bright green light, so much so that all the pilot

Your examples aren't that great, anyone can point at the sun or moon with their finger or just say look at the sun/moon.

Follow the beam.

The green one is used mostly for viewing stars because you can see the entire beam you can point right at a particular star even if it's the tiniest one in a fully starlit Arizona night sky.

Weren't they on Dragons Den or Shark Tank? I'm pretty sure that's where I first saw them.

If the girl in the headline pic has a profile on the site I'll join. ;)
