I would say so, seeing as Ashley Tisdale already has 8096 subscribers...

Well I can't be sure. But it just sounds like a typical fanboy (girl) comment in this case. Of course it's possible that they did pay her for it though.

So it's PR for Gizmodo then, not Apple? My point is, I highly doubt Apple or Apple's PR provider paid her to say that - she said it because that's what she uses.

Why is it a PR stunt just because she said MacBook Air? If she owns a MacBook Air why the fuck would she say 'small portable laptops changed my life' - of course she's going to call it a MacBook Air if that's what it is, PR or not.

Is it just me or when the McCain guy said 'And then we add a dextrose (?) solution ... ' did he actually say something else and 'dextrose' was voice over'd?

At least you'd be able to plug it in either way. :)

Mmmm... 4k

It looks like it has to do with voice? Maybe doing what Siri was supposed to do and have a system level voice command API to control non stock apps while not in the app?

+1

And all facial tissues are kleenex, inline-skates are rollerblades, cotton swabs are q-tips, real estate agents are Realtors, table tennis players are ping pong players, permanent markers are sharpies, extruded polystyrene foam is styrofoam etc...

Helvetica Neue, get with the times man.

You don't make mistakes because you have spell check as a legal right. http://gizmodo.com/5714578/oragan-publac-schools-now-okay-wiht-spell-checkking-during-examz

Pair that with one of these and you're golden.

I noticed the guy beside you has a similar set up... What's your companies monitor budget?

I'm sure he just pulled up the charts for the photo - 12 of them usually have streaming porn.

I need me some portrait code monitors. I only have 1 screen right now... and 6 unplugged... My old computer that allowed 4 monitors blew up - I replaced it with a POS core 2 since I rarely use windows and mostly use my Mac nowadays.

400" means nothing. What's the resolution?

Oh yes, I forgot the 4 still had a separate CDMA version.

One more family of morons who will go to the Apple store from now on. I feel bad for them. Although, we did get some not-so-smart people at the carrier too, usually after the fact though, coming back in with simple-to-us-nerds questions like the above example.

I sold iPhones at a cellular carrier for 5 years and it always boiled down to those questions (minus small/large) with 1-2 sentences to explain the differences in each questions options (with no explanation for black/white). I guess all the idiots shop at the Apple store and the less dumb go to the carrier?
