That depends on what you're giving.

So what exactly do you mean by "Asian Parents," other than parents who's ancestry is from Asia?
We're not talking about Siri in this thread. Which by the way, they most certainly announced it was beta, they just didn't plaster it all over the place and they maybe sort of inferred that it was fully functional, when it is not. However, the fine print always stated it was not.
Replying to promote. This is not a good comparison. 1 vs. Many
There are very few details on this as of yet. There are two possible reasons I can come up with as to why it has not already been weeded out.
Yes. Technically. Unless you know a developer who will activate your Device ID in their account. This is against the developer account terms and conditions if you are not a developer or tester employed by them who is using the device for testing their developments.
1920x1080? Are you sure about that? Most, if not all Apple laptops aren't even 16x9 ratios so that would awkwardly stretch pixels vertically on a 1920x1200 screen such as mine.
Correction: In the context of your comment, gmaps has already been replaced by iOS Maps. I think you mean, in your opinion, gmaps is irreplaceable.
You realize by clicking agree on the last page of the iOS 6 setup it makes it illegal for you to post that video? The software is still confidential and proprietary.
It's true, since he is not an Apple developer* he is technically viewing it wrong.
Who knows, maybe it will all be there by launch*
No, it would certainly happen. The difference when Steve was around would be that whoever leaked the error would have their dev account suspended since this is still proprietary and confidential information that Kyle is posting.
I see nothing idiotic here as the entire point of releasing beta software is so people can pick up on the mistakes and report them so they will be fixed by the time the software has gone live, which this hasn't actually done yet.
That's generally how beta software works.
If a parent gives a 13 year old a device with GPS they should turn off the GPS tracking in parental controls.
You could always get it without jailbreaking, it just wasn't in the keyboard options. There were apps that turned it on in the App store before iOS 5*
#1 is a Godsend.
How can you know this, it's not the 1st of the month.. The issue Jesus rages about every month is that the '1' on the App icon is misaligned.
Yes, I was referring to system wide text-to-speech (part of Siri). Other apps either use their own text-to-speech, or limited subset of pre-recorded voice snippets such as 'turn left', 'bear right', 'continue straight'. etc..
Well, 'voice turn-by-turn' would refer to what you are mentioning. If the turns automatically change on screen and show you the next step, that is still 'turn-by-turn' which the old Maps app didn't do.
