That's what I'm hoping for, even though I barely charge my iPad 2 as it is. That thing lasts forever.

It's funny though - I live in Canada, where I pay $30/month for 6GB of data that includes tethering. So I'll definitely save by getting the Wifi model.
Haha. Yes, I guess it would be.
It may not technically be a battery per se, but it would fall under the category of magical battery fix
I'm pretty sure they've used the same battery between Wifi/3G models in the iPad 1 and 2, no reason they shouldn't now.
Agreed. It's going to be phenomenal.
One of us is seeing it wrong.
Except that this is targeted at people who already own the $500 and the $99 so really it's free (or whatever the cost of the app is)
Either you speak of this or that is a strange coincidence.
Not true.
It's still exciting for you. It means your Wifi only iPad will have a beefed up battery to support the LTE models, but without LTE you'll just have even better battery life.
Well then, this should be an even bigger plus to you.
This is awesome for 2 reasons.
Well actually, we are measuring it in two dimensions, but we only say one number (132ppi) because they are the same in either dimension.
Music to my ears.
I'm not just talking about Google. I'm saying that model would benefit any of the phone manufacturers. Make a few great phones instead of 30 shitty phones.
Dude, you literally scared the shit out of that deer.
It seems to me like they're admitting the Apple model (one device that does it all, and does it perfectly) is the best way to go.
I think the best approach would be 2 MicroSD card slots. One for all your stuff you always want on the device, like apps, music and some other goodies. And one for your less important stuff that is more suitable to hot swapping so you can switch it out with other cards without losing your essentials files/apps.
