Yeah, the guy's not a hero, that's for sure. It's good that someone has come forward - A MAN! - because there are too many people who buy his "good guy" image and are in complete denial. At least this shows he's a scumbag who cheats on his wife and had sex with underage girls. It's painting a picture of who he really

Yeah, I don't want him to be demonized for speaking up, better late than never, but let's not pretend the dude deserves a fucking cookie for standing guard in front of a door while a parade of possibly underage models was left alone with a much powerful and much older man who, whether the sex was consensual or not,

"she is a loser of a daughter" What the fuck?? I'm interested to know what caused her to start using drugs in the first place and why she developed such a bad habit. I refuse to believe Bill Cosby had no role in that.

Hmmm what's the difference? Let's see. One thing (car shooting) HAS been investigated by the police, the other (Bill Cosby paying off women) has not. So even though they do not fit your weird standards, by the legal definition of English words, those are correct descriptors.

Well, just because it probably wouldn't have accomplished anything doesn't mean they wouldn't have appreciated it.

*they're* If you're going to call someone an idiot, at least get your grammar in order to make yourself sound smart. Because as it stands, you don't. While you're getting your grammar in order, get some lessons in empathy, because being relentlessly bullied and feeling like you have no other choice drove her to

I think one of the (many) problems with this is that sweeping statement often only said to a certain specific group. It's very much in the vein of "boys will be boys" and like the noxious things CNN said after the Steubenville trials.

I will never understand the whole "Sure what the boys did was bad. But should this follow them for the rest of their lives?" Fucking crazy.

I don't think the kind of guy who would collude in a gang rape would feel bad, though: I think he'd blame the victim. That's the thing about rapists: they hate the women and girls (and others) that they victimize.

I don't know if I buy that it was that tough for him. He never apologized to Rehteah for what he did. He claimed it was consensual. He supported the rapist in interviews with the police. He wasn't so broken up that he didn't let people talk shit about Rehteah and not try to stop it

Yeah, I'm glad that Rehteah's mother pointed out that it's sad we still have to rely on "what if it was your sister". Rehteah was a person. That should be good enough.

I might if it was in his own blood. Fifteen pages single spaced.

I am so fucking SICK of that. SO FUCKING SICK OF IT. It's like every time I hear it, it gets worse. NO, suffering during a trial is NOT punishment. Isn't this the entire point of a trial? That it is not punishment. That you have a trial in order to reach a conclusion herein a punishment is handed down. It's the same

One of the things I noticed, in my trip through the system, is how wildly disparately some sex offenders are treated.

Asshole doesn't even begin to cover what a disgusting piece of shit he is.

And this is why if anyone, ANYONE, lays a harming hand on my daughter, the courts will be dealing with ME, not the offender. Or, as they will be referred to after I get my hands on them, the deceased.

The judge's statements were the most aggravating, rage-inducing part of this for me. The basic gist I got out of it was, "What you did was very, very bad, and you'll feel guilty for the rest of your life... but you've been feeling bad about being on trial for three years now, so that's enough punishment for me."

A moral catastrophe. I have no other words.

Oh my fucking God. They got literally got away with murder. They killed her, and now they have to write an apology letter and that's all. They bullied a rape victim to death, and this is it? Oh my GOD. I hate people.

Wow, hopefully karma will issue forth in the form of an out of control lumber truck barreling through his yard as he checks the mail.
