I noticed a while back that Tom Cruise does a lot of stuff like that in movies. That said, I’m only 5'7" and I’ve learned that being short has its advantages. For instance, I’m the only guy in my group of friends who can comfortably fit into any sports car I sit in, haha.

Your update experience sounds like it went a lot more smoothly than mine. After upgrading, my 5S got laggy, I experienced random shutoffs, and the touchscreen would occasionally quit responding until I performed a hard reset.
