I think pretty much all canned meats get a bad rap because of what people associate with them. In America, canned meats are the protein for the poor. But for many Asians, we know and use canned meats because those were the things given to people by American soldiers during the war. For Asians, there was no bad connotat

I’ve never tried Lizano; I’ll have to grab a bottle. But listing that did remind me of another sauce that could be on this list: Maggi seasoning sauce, popular with Asians as well as Europeans. (When I stayed in Switzerland, it was often found on the table, like salt and pepper)

But then what are you using to flavor your ramen? Or are you just using the noodles separately, and have a collection of packets? I’ve done that before. Sometimes the plain noodles from the Korean store are more expensive than the soup kind, so I’ll buy the soup ones instead; then I’ll just add the noodles for my rabok

The only thing I didn’t really like about the Ch’King…I take that back…the TWO things I didn’t like about the Ch’King is 1) the dumb name that you’re embarrassed to say out loud and 2) the taste. It just didn’t taste good, compared to all the other chicken sandwiches out there. I’m willing to try this new sandwich to

I was just going to say this. Perhaps having the foundries in the US will encourage automakers to use modern silicon…? Probably not. That would take too much effort and money.

Seriously. Every album cover Saville has done should be hanging in a museum.

Man, I need this so bad. I always felt that any cocktail sauce I’ve had has just been too weak, in regards to horseradish.

This is something ripped right from the game Burnout, probably a “Revenge Takedown” or something. Crazy.

I’m pretty much living on kong-guksu (as well as naengmyeon, and jjolmyeon) because I can’t bring myself to cook anything else ever since the temps here have been hitting close to 100 degrees. Boiling some noodles and rinsing them in cold water is all I’m cooking for now. lol

Seeing these makes me think Toyota should jump on the VW bandwagon, and make an electric LiteAce/”Van”.

This is a crew transport vehicle. This isn’t going on the moon.

I’m still sad that’s not what the production model looked like.

Yeah, I was going to say how it looks very tall for a sedan, as if it’s a longer, sedan-crossover.

Cookies in a convection oven work fine, and cook in less time. An air fryer is essentially a convection oven, but with difference: the air flow is very high and directional, and the “oven” size is very very small. I would say you’re on the right track with a lower temp/longer time. You also might want to press down

The heat will kill the salmonella, but what’s more dangerous are the toxins released by the salmonella bacteria, which are not destroyed by heat.

Lobster isn’t mushy…I think you may have been served lobster that was cooked badly.

I like how the the comments have turned into people who don’t like lobster telling people who do like lobster that they’re wrong, and vice versa. It’s like no one realizes taste is subjective or something. lol.

That’s exactly how I feel about 2x. I have a bottle of the 2x sauce, and I literally added only 5 drops to my tteokbokki. Just that addition made me pause for a few minutes after every bite.

For the hot sauce lovers out there, Buldak sells bottles of just the sauce from the ramen packages, both in hot (black bottle) and 2x (red bottle). I like the sauce because, much like Frank’s Red Hot, it adds heat AND flavor.

I feel the same way. I can handle it. Sure, my mouth is basically an uncontrollable fire, but my stomach is fine. Also, the curry one is my favorite!
