MAME was previously available under a modified BSD license with the main difference being ‘no commercial distribution/use’; as Gamasutra characterized the difference this was meant to prevent/limit certain abuses of the code (i.e. people selling MAME with ROMs) but “it also kept museums that charged entry fees from

I think what tends to get nerds about TBBT is that other people do watch it and think it is an insight into geeky culture and then recommend it to them constantly. My friend who is a teacher is constantly getting recommended TBBT. So, your point is valid, but I think it is still lost on a lot of people.

Fortunately for me, my old car doesn’t include any of that horseshit, so my clearing work is traditional.

I would actually be more interested in how much it came down to giving out 3 cards per day to go through your Recommended Queue. I’d wager that accounted for a lot of uptick in visiting game pages and adding games to wishlists.

I agree. My first Steam Sale (Summer 2012) I spent over $100 on games. Now? I might spend a dollar or two, if that. Some of that is due to me being used to the sales, some of that is me still trying to play some of the backlogged games from my first Steam sale, and some of that is because I found bundle sites after

I agree Steam sales have gotten boring, but I feel there’s some reasons behind this:

This article is only interesting b/c of Amazon digital game sale that Gawker’s commerce team just advertised.

The only problem is the sales seem weaker now than they did before. Alot of the games I want are only 50% off where they would have been 75% off with the daily flash deals.

I want to like this show but it’s just so cheesy. Parts of the pilot was literally painful to watch. (I think I pulled a muscle rolling my eyes.)

Hard working modders that will have 40-50% of their revenue pocketed by Steam, and 25% pocketed by the game developer, leaving them with 25% of their actual sales. How generous and ethical!

Patrick, while you are absolutely correct about Uncle John’s Bathroom Reader, I’ve known that it is the best (and most educational) way to pass time on the porcelain throne since I was nine years old and my mother gave me a copy for Christmas.

Borderlands 2 - Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep

I agree with the comments. If anyone knows expansions it’s Blizzard. Diablo’s Lord of Destruction and Reaper of Souls are great examples of two expansions that made the games feel almost infinitely better. Same could be said of Starcraft and Warcraft!

Be sure *not* to confuse a Cordless Sweeper with a Leaf Blower. The B&D Cordless Sweepers are great at getting grass clippings off of driveways and sidewalks and clearing porches. They do not have enough power to do any serious leaf-blowing.

I'm one of the few who thinks FO3 is better than New Vegas. Don't get me wrong, I like both quite a lot. And I still have intentions of playing 2. New Vegas had some pretty great writing, but something about the quest options just felt lackluster to me. In theory having the different factions to fight or befriend was
