The media covers these types of stories for marginalized groups, as well (albeit sometimes different sources). Conflict and controversy related to hot button issues such as race sells. They want people to be at odds with each other because they stand to benefit.

It sounds like you care more for categories than individuals.

If it’s actually true, the kid is still a human being being bullied and is worthy of empathy. And sure, it won’t stop him from getting those things as an adult, but that doesn’t mean that the kid isn’t going through some shit.

It kills me that these programs, of all the programs, will probably be penalized less for their sins than the schools that are implicated here.

So much for trying to lighten up the situation.

They flop a lot less for sure.

Me too!

“We are called the laziest generation, but we’re here, skipping school! Are you listening?”

+1 for the Waldorf joke, but even Waldorf is >50% black now.

I’m pretty shocked that this happened in Largo, since it’s 90% black. You have to have some real balls or be totally deranged to go around dropping the n-bomb in P.G. County.

I like having a backup phone. Right now, my backup phone is the original Galaxy S (i.e. the Samsung Fascinate). I had to get my phone replaced a few years ago and forgot that I installed a buggy CyanogenMod rom on there and so that was fun...

Lift triangular weights!

Nice pull.

Elba would make a better Batman than Superman. He’s too debonair to be dorky Clark Kent.

Me too. It’s probably my favorite release of theirs (although I’m on a huge stout kick right now, so that might explain it).

Stone better win this lawsuit or they’ll be in deep Xocoveza.

This is probably a really dumb question, but why do languages (Korean in this case) that do not adhere to the traditional English alphabet spell words in such a way that the spelling does not better reflect the pronunciation of a word?

Does this guy know how to party or what?

Every post game interview seems to have a coach that says, “We’ve overcome a lot of adversity.” I especially like this when it’s somebody like Nick Saban talking about Alabama winning the championship. Must be hard with all of those 5 star recruits. True underdog story.

When you’re talking about someone in the highest position of authority within the department (a Sheriff), the tree is definitely poisoned. They set the tone for the culture throughout the department.
