In-game dialogue had a kind of blue glow(and sometimes red), but that was around more basic white lettering. Certainly not Papyrus-like. Even the main title had a different style font with a more normal yellow glow.

It just looks tossed together at the last minute like everything else in this Kickstarter campaign. Sure it gets the job done by conveying “Thank you”, but if you’ve ever done work in design, it’s almost painful to look at something like this. For the most successful Kickstarter game fundraiser so far, it has been one

I don’t mind that many might be optimistic(though the game won’t be funded for just 6.3million; they’ve already confirmed that), but when I mention apologists, it’s referring to the overzealous people that want to defend this haphazardly handled Kickstarter at all costs.

Chinese workers being treated like they’re all faceless beings is sadly not anything new...

Star Citizen got $2 million from Kickstarter. And then over $70 million from their own crowd-funding on their site.

To be fair, this was advertised as an absolute mess.

You pissed off Shenmue Kickstarter apologists; oh no!

The choice of Papyrus is the perfect thing to represent this entire haphazard Kickstarter.

hm. I’ll allow it.

PLEASE.

Right right. They’ll just be “historically accurate”. :P

That’s what I mean by how they’ll get used to the new dynamics.

I’m sure it’ll increase displays of sexism in the game, if only because there were just men before. Similar to how adding different skin colors than white led to an increase in displays of racism. The big question is how people manage the situation as they get used to the new dynamics.

Unfortunately, these guys in the back are having to listen to Creed instead.

I can hardly believe the lead image isn’t an adorable dance gif. I have corrected this clear oversight.

We’re all going to die.

He made fun his business, and it really came across like few big faces in gaming. I feel for everyone at Nintendo right now. Such a close colleague and friend.
