It's a character archetype.

Oh, it's only getting started. ha. Not quite sure how you can both have story integrated while still allowing it to be taken at the player's own pace. It's a tough call.

The developer has been open about issues with the PS3 due to how it handles memory, but this is the first I've heard of the PS4 version having that lag, too. PC version seems pretty solid by comparison.

To be fair, WoW kind of started that way, and it had a lot of issues out of the gate. But there was something there, and they built upon it. Over the years, it became so many different things from where it began.

However, this is also a bit of a problem. When every boss fight and set-piece battle is a climatic struggle, the “epic” becomes less so. Moreover, after a while, you just want some serious downtime to catch your breath. It's a lot like Halloween as a kid if you were one of those kids who came back with a bag full of

I think a little more levity, outside of just dancing, might help it quite a bit. Halo was able to have a sense of humor about itself, why not Destiny? There are hints there, but far less than there could be to help it be less stiff.

I -wish- it had more Borderlands in it, but yeah, seems like a similar appeal to some extent.

Maybe so. I've heard it's "oddly fun", but *shrug*

So, kind of a Diablo situation where that core, steady gameplay(and loot) drives a much longer experience than the game may initially seem to offer. hmmm...

ha. Right? I've heard that a decent bit. Kind of reminds me of some MMOs. Start with some serious issues, but there's just something there that hooks people. Hard to really quantify.

If I've learned anything from my years defending the world from the dolphin hordes, they are not to be underestimated.

Yeah, those tone shifts can definitely be a bit jarring...

I've actually seen a buttload of people playing it, and the most common thing I've heard is "It's not -amazing-, but for some reason I can't stop playing it!" Destiny is still one of the big things at the moment.

Because he's such a hard man to please, it's all the more satisfying when you do triumph and he actually sounds almost… happy? Even then, he's not quite content, his laugh forced through gritted teeth as he lords it over the opposition. But the sense of achievement of capturing all three zones in Control is only

I agree; it's sad. But the investments of his life live on, as evidenced in a hilarious video such as this. <>

It was Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, and it happened to be a game Jeff didn't like much. It didn't get a terrible review, just "Fair", and considering Eidos had spent a lot of money on advertising on the site, they were angry to have their advertisements framing an only Fair review on the site. They asked for him to

Dan can be... persuasive.

RIGHT?!?!!!

haha. Have you seen his other videos? That massage one is even creepier.
