I can't quite wrap my head around what is the metric of value for Netflix that makes the renew/not renew decision. Like, I mainlined the whole series fast, but I'm also already a Netflix customer. They would have made their monthly fee either way.

My first thought was diabetes (usually what a movie is coding when they show a non-addict self-injecting).

I would imagine the opposite. If we get a Second Season (PLEASE) I would think we'll see a switch in Riley and Will's roles. She's going to need to keep him safe while keeping him ignorant of where he is.
SPOILER MORE
Though it does set up that Wolfgang's Ultra-Violence wouldn't have succeeded without Lito, Will and Kala brining their skills to the table.
SPOILERS
My problem is more on a writing/see-the-strings-pulling level. It's a badass moment, but it does come off a bit like, "Oh, damn, we need a job for Wolfgang!" Plus, he's already the most disconnected of the eight, and that scene gives him no interaction, just an action.
I think it might tie into how things were shot. They shot the San Francisco stuff first, and that meant ALL NOMI ALL THE TIME, and JMS made some comments how the other actors were all, "Oh, when we get to London/Berlin/Seoul/whatever, it's going to be MY turn for that." So they built up a mutual support system for…
Some of us are born Wolfgangs, and some of us are Felixes.
But it was the fluid drip that took it to the next level.
SPOILERS
I wouldn't think the would, as, you know, they already have Joachim in the plot.
I presumed that was why Daryl Hannah was in the credits in every episode, despite 95% of her appearance being in the first ten minutes of the series.
I hadn't thought of that, but it's a good point.
Mainly, though, it's look adorable. And she's usually the one connecting to everyone else. Though I don't recall a Riley/Wolfgang connection.
For me, the big thing with Rajan is he constantly demonstrates how he's a genuinely good guy who is in love with Kala, which is part of what's killing her with this. She doesn't love Rajan, but she likes him plenty. So she thinks that she's kind of crazy for not wanting to marry him. Seeing naked, dripping German…
I'll grant that Cain's version presented Clark as the "real" personality, and Superman as something of a performance, as opposed to the Donner and Donner-influenced, that made Clark the performance. What I liked about Routh was he took that underlying concept that Reeves established, and tweaked it just enough to…

1. Routh
2. Cain
3. Cavill
4. That guy who you take a picture with on the street in Hollywood.
5. Random cosplayer at ComicCon.
6. Welling
Is this the right thread to talk about the time machine?
