We never got the S15 and I beleive the 240sx base price was abouy 13K. You only need the basics but leave room for aftermarket updrades. Unlike the FRS Toyota brought out that has very little room for mods.

I thought the whole reason behind this and the FRS was to be entry level? Just support the aftermarket and it should do better. I was going to purchase one but CA puts it out of my initial price range for a project car at 32K. The BRZ is 2k higher here and the tax and title is another 2.5K. . One might say its better…
