Yes very messed up. I wonder where Alicia thinks Peter would end up in death? Also telling she is in love with Will but wouldnt call him a good person. What does that make Alicia?

It happened in the season one finale. Eil deleted the second voicemail where Will confesses his love for Alicia. It was nice symmetry and call back to season 1 I think. And Eli remembered I think and that was part of his guilt and sadness and defensiveness to Peter when he said "Dont blame me for protecting you".

Goode is now a series regular. Im upset about that because Matt Czuchry should be the beneficiary of Charles' leftover screentime

Instead of adding new characters I would love it if the Kings developed Cary, David Lee, Geneva Pine and others.

You ah wicked smaht!
Edited to add: that was sarcasm but I also appreciated the nerdy context. The More You Know. Indeed.

I hope Zach went to college. Continuity for the win!

Ok well I feel slightly better. Will being shot by his client I thought was an ignoble end. But at least he died a hero.

But that there here —-> "but he was the catalyst who helped her become reacquainted with her agency". This show is partly a narrative exploration of women and their agency. We have Jackie, Alicia, Diane, Kalinda and Grace who are different examples of how women learn about and exercise their power in the world. The

I think one way to kill a young person is sudden cardiac arrest while exercising or for a person in a high stress job - heart attack or aneurysm. Then there are car accidents… there are lot of ways to kill a younger person that are less ignominious than a court house shooting that has the trappings of "he brought it

Im sorry. That kinda sucks. You are probably beating yourself up enough as it is.

So did I!!! Recovering from this and from sticking my toes into the EW waters. Oh noes!

You are forgiven then. I was refreshing obsessively trying to find your writeup. It wasnt there but I *needed* to vent

I would totally join you. Its 330 am here and I have work tomorrow/today.

Can we stop referring to everything in relation to Game of Thrones as if its a quality work or meaningful cultural touchstone? Please. And thank you.

Im reeling AV Club. Where were you when I needed you??? A post at 1:48 am!!!

Will may be in denial somewhat but much less than the heaps and heaps of denial burying Alicia. I do think he would have been as upset if someone he mentored treated him the way Alicia did (conspiring, lying, taking clients). See how ballistic he went when his b-ball buddy who had shady dealings with the juvie

I dont think it was: I dont want to date my boss. Rather it was: I dont want to ruin my marriage and if I stay at this job I will sleep with my boss again. I think there is a big difference. It had nothing to do with career aspiration or workplace professionalism it was a personal decision rooted in not making her

Ok. When you put it that way it makes it seem obvious. Duh.

Maybe I misspoke. I meant from where does this entitled-ness come from. The writers have explored and showed it to the nth degree. But they havent explored its origins.

I wish they would explore Alicia's entitled-ness. I mean is it a daddy -Im a princess thing? General white woman of privilege thing? Its strange cause on the other hand she is really insecure, saying no to herself and is a generally repressed good girl who thinks its bad to want nice things.
