I have a question, how is it possible to fly both the American flag and the Confederate battle flag side-by-side unironically?

There are plenty of Asian women who would date black men. Had this man been self-aware, he would know that it was mostly his creepy behavior that drove women away.

I do not think his physical appearance had anything to do with his rejection.

I know this is totally stupid reasoning on my part, but I still find it weird and surprising that the perpetrator didn’t look like, well, an ugly loser. Not that it would in any way excuse hatred and violence even if he really couldn’t have gotten a date, but this guy probably wouldn’t have had much romantic trouble

This guy was taught that maleness is earned through sexual agency and—failing that—violence. We enter our sons into a heteronormative process on these vile terms. It’s no surprise that young men who fail to meet unrealistic standards for gender would become violent towards each other, violent towards women, and

I believe this is about temptation. So many people scared by they desires.

Why did he attempt this, sweet mother of dragons? He avoids the high notes, so he must know he’s incapable of hitting them. So why isn’t he applying the same logic to all the other notes? Could he be under any illusion at all that he can sing?

Oh. My. God. If have to see, hear, or listen to some Christian say “protect religious liberties,” I am going to scream. This ain’t about your religion people!

I’m gay. My religious liberties are intact. It’s all those other rights I’m worried about. Graham isn’t worried about anyone’s religious liberties. No one gay or straight is in danger of losing religious freedom. This about the right to legally discriminate against gay people in housing, employment and commerce. This

If you can’t say anything nice...

Hey, the Civil War wasn’t about slavery! Remember, it was about state’s rights and Northern aggression! And we only disagreed with the Civil Rights Movement because the federal government was forcing it upon us! We weren’t actually against equal rights for those nig- I mean African Americans.

Wow, that whole Republican “We always believed in equality & equal rights” whitewashing of their historical position (which is another way of saying “bigotry”) didn't take long at all! 2 days, I'm impressed. Disgusted, but impressed.

The religious liberty they’re talking about is the liberty to tell everyone else what to do. In other words, they don’t understand what religious liberty means.

Enjoy being on the wrong side of history, assholes.
