I actually managed to learn about it in high school US History. It was essentially a footnote in the chapter about social movements, but it was there.

This is how non-black people get away with stealing. I’ve heard many stories. I have a friend who’s Asian who used to steal a lot and she’s never been caught. I know two white girls who’s favorite activity on the weekends is to go to the mall and steal stuff from one store to another.
