No Ring Fit Adventure?
No Ring Fit Adventure?
Everything about this game is exceptional. It’s been a very good year for very good games, but this one, at that price point, just sheer brilliance. Who needs a next-gen console if devs are putting out games like this?
From what I’ve played so far, sending goombas to the other players is more a gift than a curse — you’re just giving them more chances to add to the clock.
So will the microtransactions be patched in by Halloween? Or by Christmas?
The biggest problem for me with Advent Children is that the film is basically a lengthy lead-up to a fight with Sephiroth, followed by the fight with Sephiroth. It’s telling the audience, almost at all times, don’t worry, we’ll get you that fight with Sephiroth. Here are these teens, I bet they have something to do…
I’m really down on the live-service model, and with good reason. I can’t even be bothered to play the good live-service games. If the campaign is the meat of the game, and not an after-thought, this may be a bargain-bin purchase one day. But this long-tail shit has no place in my house, no matter how good the campaign…
Come play the fun comic book game featuring you and your kids’ favorite characters! But first, here’s a lengthy essay on how you can spend money for costumes, and how that system works.
In which Epic tries to get the kids all worked-up against one of the few things fellow mega-corp Apple has done well — setting up a walled garden to prevent shady app developers from allowing in-app purchases with no quality control or protections. But don’t worry, they’ll say it’s really about the 30 percent cut…

Zero dollars. It will cost me zero dollars, because fuck Blizzard Activision. Shitty company, shitty business practices, shitty all around.
I’m done with buying consoles at launch, so in truth, a delay doesn’t trouble me one way or the other. But, yeah, I’ve been thinking about this for a while now.
Some of us won’t forget. I won’t be buying another Blizzard Activision game any time soon, and if there’s a game so good that it demands my attention, well, that’s what the used market is for I guess.
This is the Chinese government’s MO. It’s not enough to censor media in China -- they demand censorship across the globe. Shame on Activision for once again caving to tyrants to make a few more bucks.
I used to be a physical-only purist, and I still try to buy physical when I can — mainly because of the ownership question. But I’ve become more flexible in the last few years. Losing your shelf space to make room for two kids and all their furniture and baby toys will do that, I guess.
Don’t worry. Dragaux is always there for you.
Sure sound like we’re getting a sequel to Lair.
I hope there’s a subplot where Jade exposes how Ubisoft covered for decades of sexual and physical abuse in the company’s ranks.
Doesn’t matter how many times you prove that argument, how many times you bring up the savings associated with digital distribution, or how an always-on internet means constant access to micro transaction money and constant ad revenue streams in games that support ads.
Joker’s awakening in the game had this Go Nagai vibe — fluid animation, bloody and punk as hell. The anime-series version of the exact same thing looked like some bog standard Anime Nonsense.
Will the animation style still be less dynamic and less interesting than the in-game cut-scenes?
