Think no teams in east want to move to west. Need 2 teams in west. Waiting for either Seattle or Saskaton to build an NHL arena and apply. Las Vegas at least gives them one team of the two they need. Quebec will get Hurricanes or other teamto move eventually, that are already in the East.

The real issue is they need 2 teams in west - Quebec is in the East and none current eastern teams want to play in west. Waiting for Hurricanes to move to Quebec.

Hurricanes eventually will move to Quebec. Both are in East, so no teams would have to switch.

The fact they already have a NHL ready rink and sold all those season tickets is a good reason. Plus being in West, when they play NHL Pacific Division fans will come from Pacific Teams like Kings, Ducks, Sharks and Coyotes.
