Pence is the embodiment of what I like to call the American Taliban. Religious fanatics hell-bent on sending us back to the 1800s. I like to think as a nation we can overcome anything, but you never know.

I formerly worked in an environmental compliance firm, whose jobs existed because of federal regulations like NEPA and NRHP. I got out, and am young enough to figure out a new career, but most of the environmentalists were Republicans. I can’t see professions like that surviving if this is the way things are going to…

Yeah, but then the oil companies would lose profits. We just can’t have that. Or nice things. Or a livable planet.
