It's funny how perceptions can differ on things like this. I always assumed the opposite as you — that Google only allowed native sync on Android phones and excluded others, not that Apple was holding back on allowing native sync on iPhone. I bet the reality lies somewhere in the middle.

So if it was just called something other than Exchange in setup, you'd be happy with it?

How serious a price drop are you looking for? You don't mention what type of machine you're looking for — only that you don't like Windows 8. So I'm assuming, then, you're just looking for a switch to Mac OS and are less concerned with form-factor? If so, you can make the switch for $600. For $230 more you could get a

"...Mark Zuckerberg is awfully guarded. He has made Facebook public by default, and yet his own public posts are few, far-between, and tend towards the anodyne."

Thanks for the tip, guess I had fonts on the mind

You know, I skimmed and overlooked that. But thanks for the crappy reply, anyway. You sure wear that star well.

Interesting! What was the paper, if I may ask?

    It's nerd revenge!

I don't want to know where these guys keep their laptops.

Wow, they completely changed up the front page, entirely. It doesn't look like a single story from the original front page was kept for the new one. It would be interesting to see what work goes into getting that done all in the span of a couple of hours.

Contractors receiving different benefits from direct employees? How shocking! How does this deserve an article?

I dunno... I'm just not getting the warm fuzzies that these are the guys to turn this into a reality. Also, their goal of $10k sounds like a pretty amateurish amount for the level of complexity this app would require to develop.

    You can't close magic

Finally, I'll be able to doodle to my heart's desire!

Get a license to be a PI, then maybe you could get it.
