I wonder who the lucky owner will be, or if they'll know it's the last of the heritage?

You have a problem with that? That's german engineering at its finest!! The liftgate on my Durango does the same thing in cold weather.

You don't really want to know how they "fix" priapism.

Ludicrous speed?

I'll drive your M5 so you can get all the seat time in das auto that you'd care to have.

Would you like to borrow a broomhandle? $30 maybe?

EDIT: Yesterday's CP vote was for an '86. As any true 'vette enthusiast knows, there were no production Corvettes for 1983.

The Chester and Lester album is where its at, brother. And to be fair, it's Les as an inventor and innovator that I find the most fascinating.

Only partially related... but yesterday I had the chance to drive the new Mazda 5, and boy was I impressed. Totally not in that market, but I really enjoyed it. Microvan?

Hence my hesitance to let any of the strats go.... Live and learn, but you know, it went to a collector in Tokyo, so I am happy that it has a good home. I still have dreams about meeting Les at the Iridium club, getting a picture where he signs the guitar and me smiling. If I woulda been able to pull that off, there's

I have a buddy who was laid off from his job (~$40k) and they renamed the job, cut the pay and called him back. They did this about 4 times, and took him from a hair over 40 to about 13/hr. Fortunately he found a new job with a MUCH better company.

I'm the same way... I love their acoustics, but the frets on the electrics are way too fat for me. I was really disappointed in what I found, and I wanted to like them.

That Everman article is one of the best pieces I've read in a long time. Really... Check it out. I kinda wanna buy him a beer, and then I also want to leave him alone.

Maybe you might want to check out Taylor Guitars "pallet guitar." Basically, they feel like a guitar can be made out of any wood. Sure some are better than others, but proper craftsmanship is the key factor here.

#6: I'm not sure which is shittier: The weather or the drivers.

That was a cheap shot, if I ever saw one.

Damn.

I need some breffis and-a WOO WOO!!

And with all due respect, I wouldn't call GoDaddy and honorable sponsorship.

For sure. I'd love to see lower taxes. They sure as heck can't manage the amount of money we're giving them. Take some away, and maybe they'll get smarter about how they spend it.
