I completely agree with the article. The only thing missing is maybe some recognition that is honestly going to be an extremely emotional thing for some people to do.
I still loved the dialog from those scenes. Especially George’s. The way he linked the high heel scar from his mother to a desire and symbolisim for physical power was alright, but the way York dismisses it as “not power, just child abuse” was great.
Shenmue? It looks like a licensed Barbie Ninjas game
Sonic Mania does the same thing in the intro screen. Seems like a fad right now... A fad I’m glad to see for once
The only thing I hated about this game was the LCD screen was a pain to look at outside. Aside from that it was an alright action RPG. Staring at the LCD in sunlight was just bad design though.

So hang on... If the scene is removed how does one explain Soliel’s eventual love for the main character? I feel like you would need to write a whole other scene where that realization is achieved in some way... Otherwise it just comes out of left field.
I played through it twice. It’s godawful, and I mean that in the most horrific sense when it comes to the gameplay. Dat story though... So much crazy fun. The conspiracy stuff was great and the characters? The first time I saw the Chinese super-spy in his trenchcoat I wanted to kick the disc across the room and shout…
