I'm going to NY on a theater trip in August (only show I have tix for already is DEH, since I figured it would win & thus sell out). I'd just been talking to someone who'd recently been in NY was raving about how great "Groundhog Day" was, but it certainly didn't come across at all in that number. I lost whatever

His friends all knew, but the subject was treated with some delicacy in deference to his family (even now, no details of his death have been made public). Anyway, thanks for writing this excellent piece, Noel!

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Ty Dolla $ign as their "fixer." That was so hilarious and random.
I watched all three episodes of "Documentary Now!" last night and as a longtime fan of docs, I just LOVE it. I hope they get to make a second season — the possibilities are really endless with this show.

Anyone know where this was filmed? There was a mention of the "Mackinac Bridge" and the lost child poster had a 313 area code, so I'm wondering if it was somewhere in Michigan.

My ex-husband was a panelist on "Four on the Floor," and not even I have given any thought to that show in years. It was a fun show, though, and I got to meet Brian Eno at a taping, so that was cool.

Ironically, I wanted to find this article (which I'd read a couple of days ago) so I could complain about the lack of a list of shows in the TV Club, and I could not — I finally had to go to Google and search for "AV Club redesign," which brought this up as the first result. It's sort of sad that it's actually more

Weird Al and the Breaking Bad actors do indeed have a mutual admiration society. Al got together with Cranston & Paul when he played Albuquerque last year: http://twitpic.com/9fruig

I was just going to say the same thing. I want to find out all the crazy twists, WITHOUT having to actually see the film, obviously.

I laughed for a good minute or two over the "Müll-Schlampe" web site (German for "trash-bitch"). There always seem to be at least a couple throwaway jokes in every episode that just crack me up. The reference might be dated, but I also enjoyed Jenna's line about Mickey Rourke's sex grill.

The crossed out photo of Michelle Bachmann shows they must have done some last minute tweaking, though there didn't appear to be a picture of Rick Santorum. Guess they couldn't have predicted THAT one when they were putting the episode together.
