This thing is getting overblown. I’m already tired of this coverage. They had days and days to prepare for this: get food, water, etc., get a blanket and hunker the fuck down. Problem solved. She is just awful. Her biggest responsibilities at Jez were Dirtbag (which was cutting and pasting links to other sites) and movie reviews (which she couldn’t get through without spoiling). And yet her sense of self-importance and delusions of grandeur were nauseating. I was so relieved to see her gone.

That wasn’t a great example I gave above. A better example is, “That dress makes you look so skinny,” or, “You look so pretty today.” The implication is that you’re not any of these things the rest of the time.
