As much as people are complaining about the portrait orientation of the video, I think for that single moment when he gets all up close, the framing is actually quite perfect. If he'd been holding it landscape, the forehead/chin areas would likely get cut and it'd be a little less terrifying. A little less.

Not to mention that I don't think a wrinkle-free Sphynx would work unless its skin was extremely elastic, which would just be far more disturbing than wrinkles.

My girlfriend has a cat that looks exactly like this one and we were just talking about how dapper he looked and how badly he needed a bowler cap or something. This is perfect.

I didn't assume that until you told me not to assume it.

As an old and unattractive 31 year old, you're saying things will improve for me? Awesome! I assumed it was all downhill from here.

I designed all my posters myself, each featuring one of my top six favorite races during the Formula 1 season. What does that say about me? Does it explain why I'm so lonely?

I'm still very early in the game and it's made rather clear that Vaas isn't long for this world. I think spoilers are okay in comments an article about the games sequel, 8 months after its initial release.

It does include 4 3-Day General Admission Tickets which alone costs ~$700, so $300 for the camping pad for the weekend is actually a pretty good deal, considering hotel prices are currently $200-300 PER NIGHT minimum if they're anywhere within 50 miles of the track.

I believe Memphis is FedEx's headquarters and home to their SuperHub. Almost all of my FedEx shipped amazon packages go through Memphis at some point. In fact, almost every FedEx second/next day package I've ever received has gone through Memphis, unless it was already coming regionally.

So protecting someone's comfort overrides the right of another person to their self-identity? They're not asking to be called Sir Lordship Picklebottom III, they're just asking to be referred to be their preferred pronoun, he/she, him/her, or in other cases they/them, or just by their name rather than a gendered

Just gonna put it out there that I suspect a lot of the feedback being referred to didn't necessarily come via the comments section, as there are multiple ways to contact each writer (and when making "brutal" comments towards someone, doing it through more direct channels, such as email/twitter/g+ makes more sense).

A pretty reasonable alternative to the Aeron is the Realspace Quantum Pro Mesh Midback chair from Office Depot. I've had both and for the price (~$250) it's a great, sturdy chair, highly adjustable. I'm planning on buying a second one soon for home. http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/510…

You said In-n-Out and I got hungry, then I read your username and that took care of the appetite. :D

Fellow X-2/530 fan here. I bought 4 more sets off eBay last year (530s, 230s are hard to come by but you can just run without the rear/center fine), so they're still around, I usually spent around $40-50 for a set and they're all consistently great (one had some mesh torn a bit, no biggie). I was having such a hard

SMB2 is and will always be my favorite of the series.

I bought my mom an Aeropress. After 50+ years of terrible burnt ass coffee maker coffee, she said the Aeropress tasted "too smooth" and went back to her 10-year-old $9 coffee maker.

I like the idea, and if they can hit that price point (and have good reliability and a decent warranty) I can think of a lot of people in my life that would be interested. That's a price point where buying a used car makes me particularly nervous, too cheap to be really good, too expensive to be a throw-away if

It's not like this guy was running a lawful practice, using this as an example of why we need to increase regulations for other, legitimate providers is backwards and a knee-jerk reaction ti this situation. Gosnell wasn't running an abortion clinic, Gosnell was exploiting women and his employees, it just so happened

Guns are a very heated topic right now and some people (both on and off the internet) tend to get so worked up that they'll skip past understanding the argument and just start shooting off their not-really-related arguments. I think that was Owen's concern.
