A really beautiful space, for sure, but:

@karyisme: I use Pulse on my tablet and the Google Reader mobile site on my phone. With lots of screen space, Pulse looks particularly awesome.

@gonintendo: Aye, corrected. Tried it on my GTablet and it's not there. Thought it was a stock thing, buggers. It's useful!

@ihityouinthenose: Also, I think if you're on Froyo or newer, holding the home button brings up the recent apps which has a Task Manager button that just takes you to the running tab.

Hmm, I wonder if I could make a tasker profile that would start my IM program when I receive an SMS with a trigger word. I imagine it's not hard but I haven't played with. I guess I could just receive the SMS telling me to sign on manually, but eh!

@sassafras: It's such a charming city, though!

@Deftone: Will you be my friend?

@Deftone: It was in Steam's big sale for like $6 a couple weeks back. I bought a bunch of copies as gifts for friends hoping SOMEONE I know will play with me. No luck yet.

I think there is a sex tape on the laptop and no cure for cancer, and they're hoping they can appeal to the thief's humanity before he discovers it.

@JordanAT: You can make a vanilla steamer that's pretty tasty. If I want something frothy and sweet without coffee, I steam some milk with our espresso machine and put in a little vanilla syrup. Warm, tasty, vanilla-y goodness.

I've been really happy using packagetrackr.com, it was incredibly useful around the holidays to know when presents were coming in (especially the big ones that I definitely wanted to intercept before anyone else got them off the front step). They have a mobile version of the site, and you can set up shipment

@Kerensky97: +1 for Yak-Trax. Bought a pair for myself a couple winters back and it saved me from biting it at least half a dozen times per winter, and allows me to walk around more quickly/naturally. The day I received them and tried them out, I immediately ordered a few more pairs for family members.

mmmm cream of wheat

@Aurailious: My (basic) understanding is that devs would have the choice to include tablet and phone layouts and features in the same App, and the OS/Device will trigger the appropriate options.

I grew up in a family where I wasn't taught healthy eating and exercise habits. I wish I had been given access to a program like WW when I was a child, because I certainly wasn't getting any sort of structured habits or information at home, and now I have a lifelong struggle to deal with.

Up until a couple years ago when they used the vintage logo on their cups for a while, I never even realized what the center of the logo was. If it wasn't for that, I might not even recognize this logo. The thick green band and the strong typeface of the Starbucks name are how I've always recognized the brand, not

@allthegossip: Starbucks makes good money off their toilets. At least from me. When I'm driving from Moscow, ID to the Seattle area, I always stop in Ellensburg, WA to refuel, and the Starbucks bathroom there is the only one I'll touch, but I felt guilty using it without making a purchase so I always buy something

@queenhobart: True, unchecked, an population like this could happen in just months.

Many, if not all of these rats that were healthy enough, were transported around the country for adoption. Many of them have found wonderful homes and I suspect each of them has learned to be a warm, doting companion.
