I’ve gotten in trouble for using “ma’am” before because apparently it makes some women feel old. I’ve never been sure what to do with that, since “ma’am”, like “sir”, is supposed to be a term of general respect for any adult person, not just for the old people. It’s just good manners.

When I read the article title I was like that’s a weird way to phrase that. They capitalize the first letters in article titles.
