for my bosses birthday once, i found a blister-pack of screwdrivers, scanned the packaging into photoshop, and made them Left Hand Screwdrivers because he was always giving me a hard time about being a lefty.

Your putting WAY to much emphasis on the gender. Every shop does something like this to the new guy.
It actually happened smack dab in the middle of the Obama administration, so I think this is more of a generic government corruption thing rather than being a partisan issue.
*Race was in 2012
Hoping my sarcasm meter is broken and you aren’t serious seeing as this was for a 2012 race...
Yep get those cars off the roads until they can learn to drive safely!
Say what you want about F1, but there’s one thing that’s undeniably better ever since the new owners took over early last year. And that’s the amount of content on the official Youtube channel.
Well I’m sure the team comes up with a run. It’s certainly not as scripted as you seem to think it is. I’m sure teams are given a layout of what the course is going to look like and then the teams come up with their own runs.
Not in a car, but I love this French Bulldog grooving with his master. So adorable...............the dog ain’t bad either.
Beyond adding more to the Formula E weekend (and helping Dallara sell more spares), there is exactly zero need for this. The lower level open-wheel world is already bursting at the seams with feeder series, all with very few places at the highest levels for talented drivers to end up.

I dunno, their house, their family? Their pet? I can think of a lot of things.
Your “a gap is a gap” rule is a bit misleading. If I’m leaving a car-length gap, it’s for safety. You cutting in and making the gap 3 inches forces everyone to slow down.
Don’t compare this to a zipper merge. This is NOT a zipper merge. At all.
You are a very sensible person, I love cars but at the end of the day they are just stuff.
To me it’s not depressing. It’s a reminder that cars are just a pile of parts screwed together, a product to be enjoyed and used. It’s mortal and transient, just like everything. I’ll die someday, and so shall these expensive cars. Then everything we know will turn to dust, but that doesn’t really matter, because we…
This. A couple years ago on New Years Eve, a kid in a Jetta sideswiped my ‘65 Impala. I lost my shit... and got over it literally in minutes. The kid was lucky not to roll his car off the road, everyone walked away without a scratch, and insurance fixed my car. When all is said and done, it really is just a car.
Thank you for stating what every adult should remember.
