The seats are definitely not the Kirkey seats of old, modern containment seats are custom-built to fit each driver and can make it uncomfortable for others to sit in.

Reminds me of Cole Venard, former Grave Digger driver now driver of the Black Pearl monster truck. His left leg is prosthetic and he drives just as well as any other driver, definitely doesn’t let the prosthetic slow him down in the slightest.

Hayabusas are best used when their engines are placed in race cars.
Rallycross is the best place for electric racing to go. Short races not dependent on regeneration, battery capacity exceeding that needed for short 4- and 6-lap races, and cars that already accelerate faster than everything short of Pro-level dragsters. As weird as it is to say, I’d welcome this with open arms.
Replace “cars” with any other product (food, furniture, electronics, etcetera), would you still say “they should be auctioned off”? Or is it only because they’re cars and you’re a car “enthusiast” that they shouldn’t be destroyed?

That Fiat is begging for an interior stripping, full cage and seat/harness, and a Literbike or Hayabusa engine in the back. Some suspension tweaking/replacement and it’ll be an excellent trackday sleeper.
