On the topic of RC cars, have some RC rally racing, where RC cars meet cardio.

I still think they need to pair up Montreal with Mexico City in late-Spring/early-Summer, and pair Austin with Sao Paulo in the Fall, that way there’s enough physical distance to keep the races from pulling from the other track’s market.

How about doing an engine swap so far that the only thing original is the body? That’s what was done to create an Altered SmartForTwo, and it’s awesome.

Not sure the Ennui comment is right, the people who buy the Versa use it to get from point A to point B and don’t expect much more, for its intended purpose it works rather well.

Indeed, including debts it seems the purchase price is well into the millions.

Is that how people cheat the LeMons car pricing policy?

I’m clearly not a comedian, came up with a better punchline later:

It appears Lotus F1 was auctioned off and only Renault and this guy showed up to bid, with Renault winning.

Good to see they didn’t try the five-finger discount.

This is how I will always remember Shane MacGowan:

Personally only a couple times, others do it more than I do.

They’re doing it wrong, a backhoe is too light to get proper crush on the roof of the car.

Does that front end look very Ferrari Enzo to anyone else?

The thing that always makes me chuckle is its fastest lap around Road America is slower than a D-Sports Racer running a 600cc turbocharged motorcycle engine.

That gives a whole new meaning to the phrase “eat a bag of dicks.”

That really sucks for everyone let go, Motorsports jobs are very cutthroat as it is, to think you’re job is secure then one week later lose it is terrible. Shame on Nissan for this.

Something about the car riding the fence like that doesn’t sit well with me. I understand they need to build the track up a bit, but to have very little of the DOT barrier exposed just doesn’t seem right to me.

Interesting to see you mention Sim Racing and Texas World Speedway in the same sentence, back in 2008 TWS was released on rFactor Central with a few different layouts, for rFactor of course.
